Associate in General Studies

The Associate in General Studies Degree (AGS) requires completion of 64 semester hours and is an individualized degree that meets the needs and interests of the student. This degree allows for the combination of both transfer and career courses. While not intended to be a transfer degree, the AGS degree recognizes completion of 64 semester hours of credit with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0. The requirements of the degree are listed below. General Education requirements for this degree are met by successful completion of courses approved in the curriculum areas listed below.

Additional Area of Concentration Required

The student pursuing this degree will be required to take twelve (12) additional credit hours beyond the minimum of eight (8) courses in General Education.
