DLH 2200 Clinic II

This course is a continuation of Clinic I; continued advancement of clinical competencies.  The students will be provided opportunities to refine previously learned skills.  Emphasis will be placed on root planing, topical medical application, preparation of study casts, placement of sealants, periodontal charting, local anesthetic, and treatment of patients with special oral needs.  Clinical experiences are arranged in the dental hygiene clinic and extra-mural rotations. Prerequisite: This course is part of a Limited Admissions Program; registration in this course requires admission to the program.
