CRJ 2280 Criminal Justice Internship

This is an internship arrangement whereby each student receives credit for work experience within a chosen career path related to course work in the criminal justice system. Students will be offered the opportunity to partake and or observe in practical application the theoretical topics and methodologies learned within the classroom environment. The criminal justice internship may be repeated once for credit, thus providing the student with the possibility of expanded experience within the field. If the internship is repeated, the student must seek placement at an agency other than the initial internship agency. Students must complete 225 hours of on-the-job work experience (15 hours x 15 weeks).
