DLH 1205 Dental Hygiene I
This course is a continuation of the Preclinic course with importance on discussion of supplemental procedures, i.e. drug investigation, significance of the oral examination, agents used to desensitize teeth, appointment sequencing, post-operative instructions, and the use of ultrasonic scaling devices, and air polishing. Prerequisite: This course is part of a Limited Admissions Program; registration in this course requires admission to the program.
