DLA 1204 Dental Radiography

Introduction to radiation physics, radiation protection and the operation of radiographic equipment.  Instruction in exposure, processing, mounting of dental radiographs, and study of safety and standard practices. Students will also be introduced to interpretation of radiographs and specialized intraoral and extraoral radiographic techniques. Lecture, two hours per week; lab, two hours per week. Prerequisite: This course is part of a Limited Admissions Program; registration in this course requires admission to the program and DLA 1209 minimum grade C
