BIO 1007 Anatomy & Physiology I
This course involves an introductory study of the structure and function of the human body. A study of cytology, histology, and five organ systems (integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and endocrine) illustrates the relationships between structures and their functions. Laboratory exercises include cat dissection, microscopy, cadaver demonstration and other materials. Lecture two hours per week; lab three hours per week; seminar one hour per week. Prerequisite: None, but
BIO 1200 or
BIO 1001 is recommended for students with a limited science background.
