GDT 1208 Introduction To Facebook

This course is an introduction to the most popular social networking vehicle. Students will explore Facebook's role in marketing. Students will set up a Facebook profile and adhere to best practices. Students will also explore how Facebook may be used by businesses and non-profits to generate meaningful posts and status updates to build and maintain a business community. Information will be provided about ads, analytics and how to assess the performance of the competition. Lecture: one hour per week.
