Commencement and Cap and Gown
Cap and gown ordering information, as well as an invitation to participate in the annual Commencement Ceremony, will be sent in February of each year for students who file an application for graduation. In addition to May graduates, August and December graduates are also invited to participate in the ceremony as well. There is no fee charged for the graduation cap and gown, and orders will be available for pick up on main campus the week of graduation.
If you are within two classes of graduation (with 6 or less credit hours left to finish) and are registered to complete them during the upcoming summer semester, you can participate in the Commencement Ceremony in May prior to the completion of your summer classes. You would simply need to fill out the graduation application, indicate summer graduation, and submit the application by February 15.
