First-Year Counseling and Registration
The purpose of the First-Year Counseling and Registration is to orient new students with IVCC, acquaint new students with college services and resources, familiarize new students to the campus and appropriate college processes, receive advisement, and register for classes. Make your appointment mid-January at www.ivcc.edu/fcr by choosing First-Year Counseling and Registration. For your convenience, we offer day and evening options which run approximately 2 hours on the main campus. Visit www.ivcc.edu/fcr for detailed instructions and to determine whether placement testing is required, as there are multiple measures for course placement. IVCC highly recommends that ALL students take the math placement test as more options for coursework are available.
