Associate in General Studies

The Associate in General Studies Degree (AGS) requires completion of 60 credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and is an individualized degree that meets the needs and interests of the student. This degree allows for the combination of both transfer and career courses.  While not intended to be a transfer degree, the A.G.S. degree recognizes completion of two years of college.

Additional Area of Concentration

The student pursuing this degree will be required to take twelve (12) additional credit hours beyond the minimum of eight (8) courses in General Education. These twelve additional credit hours must be taken from one of the following curriculum areas and must be college level credit.
