NUR 1211 Holistic Nursing I

The focus of this course is the nursing care of patients with the most commonly experienced conditions and problems of the reproductive, nervous, musculoskeletal, and immunological systems across the life span. Care of the childbearing client/family, including normal pregnancy and common complications is also covered. Students are provided an opportunity to utilize critical thinking, the nursing process, nursing and communication skills, and knowledge of theory and community in the clinical setting.
