GNT 1230 Manufacturing Processes
This course introduces the basics of how manufacturing transforms materials into products. Students will learn about the varying types of production and will learn about the materials that are used in production and the types of processes used in manufacturing including machining, casting, and assembly. Students will have the opportunity to earn the Manufacturing Process and Production Certification through the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC). Lecture, 2 hours; lab, 2 hours.
Pre- or Co-requisite
GNT 1220 -Must be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course.
