LIT 2023 Science Fiction

A study of a major type of popular literature, the course closely investigates the creation of futuristic fiction, its techniques and forms. Extensive reading in both short stories and novels will develop the student's abilities to understand how such literature contributes to western literary tradition. Two sci-fi movies are included in order to study this literature in a popular medium.
