BIO 1007 Anatomy & Physiology I
This course involves an introductory study of the structure and function of the human body. A study of cytology, histology, and five organ systems (integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and endocrine) illustrates the relationships between structures and their functions. Laboratory - exercises include cat dissection, microscopy, cadaver demonstration and other materials. Lecture two hours per week; lab three hours per week; seminar one hour per week. Prerequisite: None, but
BIO 1200 or
BIO 1001 is recommended for students with a limited science background.
