ART 2009 Ceramics II

Continued application of first semester procedures of Ceramics I with emphasis on the control of design in form and techniques, including methods of glaze application and decorative techniques. Practice in the operation of clay equipment, stacking, and firing kilns. Experimentation in the possibilities and limitations of the medium. Continued exploration of exemplar ceramic art. Lecture, one hour per week; laboratory, five hours per week.
