ELE 1202 Motors and Controls I

Principles of operation and control of DC and single phase AC motors and generators are studied. Additional topics include: J.I.C. symbols, power and control wiring in ladder diagram format, and wiring techniques for forward-reverse and speed-control operations. Troubleshooting techniques will be emphasized throughout this course. Lecture, 2 hours; lab, 1 hour.
